Yesterday,
I was invited to a Christmas dinner
by a family of the church that I attend.
I had a great time.
And it is, indeed, a wonderful family.
So there was about 6-8 of us chatting at a table after dinner.
We had a fantastic conversation.
At some point, I asked the daughter where she attended college.
She replied, "Hillsdale College in Michigan"
I smiled.
All that I could do at that moment was smile.
So I said, in more or less words,
"Hey! Ever heard of Victor Davis Hanson?"
She and I continued to chat.
