I remember watching this intro on Saturdays
as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's.
I was extremely disappointed when I missed the intro.
I absolutely had to watch the downhill skier.
It was the downhill skier that I watched in awe.
And baseball was my favorite sport to play.
When I watched it,
it made me want to go outside and play as hard as I could.
I could feel my adrenaline kicking in.
Funny, I did not know what that was at that age.
But I felt it.
That said, I firmly believe that the key to winning is. . .
having the ability to move forward from "the agony of defeat."
