I will keep this short.
So, I listened to this podcast a few times.
"There is not a sniper in the world
that I would trust.
And I've known some great ones.
That I would trust to take a shot
at me to clip my ear."

I agree.
That said, that first shot fired was on target.
If I believe in miracles, and I do,
then that first shot fired was on target.
Because it took an Act-of-God
for Donald Trump to walk away from it.
In more ways than one. :)
Further, after looking at the video,
the most telling thing to me right now
was how "comfortable" the would-be assassin
appeared from the time he was initially
spotted on the roof until the first shot was fired.
And I would even argue the entire day
up until that point.
Why?
Why did he make his way so "comfortably"
to an elevated structure that permitted
a clear view of the podium?
How & Why?
It's like he was deer hunting --
walking with an intent & purpose
to his deer stand.
He knew where he was going.
In other words,
it was as if there was an understanding
by the would-be assassin that he would have
the time & the place to perform his aimed objective.
In the end, he had it coming to him.
Moving forward,
A spectre is looming in Georgetown,
"the spectre of communisn."

Also, I agree with Baker,
Central & South America should be
neither overlooked,
nor underestimated.
Just like Admiral Miles warned about
in China years ago in his book,
"A Different Kind of War."
